Research project "Biosensibility - Theory"

State of project: finished

Water has an outstanding importance for terrestrial life. But many of its characteristics can be described completely neither by general natural scientific models nor by the more recent approaches of special water research work. Examples for this are the changeability of water under the influence of electromagnetic radiation and the effects of the changes, e. g. in human beings, which are around 70% water.

Caused by an explosion in technological development radiation in the human habitat has grown enormously. Health promoting as well as health damaging effects of electromagnetic radation are still under discussion. Debating the effects is controversial because of insufficient theoretical explanations and because of claims of prejudices among the people concerned. In a basic analysis water, light, life and their interdependencies are introduced. Several observations and experiences are compared with approaches and explanations out of  the scientific state of the art.

Research project "Biosensibility - Experiment I"

State of project: finished
The project was supported by the Ludwig Boltzmann Institute for Homeopathy, Graz and the Interuniversity College for Integrated Health Sciences college@inter-uni.net, Graz/ Schloss Seggau.

Based on the initial results of the project "Biosensibility - Theory", a scientific study was conducted with 1000 "probands": Plants were used as assumed incorrupt bioindicators. The question was whether, there would be different growth effects correlating with different radiated water used once for watering. The water was treated by infrared and optical radiation with different wave length. Basic principles, methods, results, discussion and possible interpretations can be found in the book: "Biosensibilität - Zur Wirkung von Wasser, das mit Infrarotstrahlung beaufschlagt wurde, auf die Keimung von Mungobohnen". The book is in German only. But the effects and discussion are really surprising!

Publications: Geelhaar, C. W.: "Biosensibilität - Zur Wirkung von Wasser, das durch Infrarotstrahlung beaufschlagt wurde, auf die Keimung von Mungobohnen", 2004. For further details see Publications.

Teaching project "Scientific work - Theory"

State of project: in progress

This project concentrates on the development and continuous improvement of teaching material for scientific working.

Teaching project "Masterthesis - competency in scientific documentation"

State of project: finished
The project is by order of an education institution. The main focus is on scientific lectorates, proofreading, imparting competencies for scientific documentation in master theses (MSc).

The institution offers postgraduate distance learning programmes for people in medical, psychological, health and associated scientific professions. A master programme "MSc Integrated Health Sciences" focuses on themes relating to complementary, integrated and psychosocial health promotion. The study programme has a modular structure. In the last of three years there is a "scientific working" module. The students have to arrange their own research project. The project builds up the base for a master thesis.

Publications: there are no specific publications available.

Teaching project "Publication support"

State of project: in progress, several smaller projects

The project concentrates on supporting publications in (scientific) journals based on complex research material. This may include collecting and structuring existing and/or further data, checking for plausibility, looking for suitable papers, writing, formating, background work together with editorial staff etc.

Publications: depending on the concrete task sometimes out of project work
